To our Happy Howl family,

I wanted to personally share a short-term update around our Lamb Delight recipe...

Over the past few weeks, severe winter weather has caused unexpected delays in our production and supply chain. As a result, our Lamb Delight inventory is temporarily tighter than we planned.

Rather than quietly limiting access or prioritizing new customers, we’ve made a conscious decision to do the opposite:

We are protecting Lamb Delight inventory for our existing customers and their dogs first.

That means that for a short period of time, Lamb Delight will not be available for new purchases while we ensure the families who already rely on it continue to receive what their dogs need.

Why This Matters

We know how important our Lamb Delight recipe is, especially for dogs with:

  • Sensitive digestion
  • Food allergies
  • Ingredient intolerances
  • Specific dietary needs

For many of you, Lamb Delight isn’t just a preference - it’s essential - and we take that responsibility seriously.

Our team is working around the clock to get our next Lamb Delight production completed and delivered as quickly as possible. We are on track for full production by the last week of February, and we do not expect any ongoing supply issues moving forward through 2026.

This is a short-term challenge caused by weather, not a long-term inventory problem.

How You Can Help (If You’re Able)

If you currently receive large Lamb-only subscriptions and have enough food to last a bit longer, we’d be incredibly grateful if you’re willing to consider one of the following temporary options:

  • Pushing your next order back by a few weeks
  • Switching to a smaller case size for your next shipment

If you choose to do this, we will make sure you receive the remaining portion of your order as soon as our next production is complete.

Your flexibility helps us make sure every dog who depends on Lamb Delight continues to be supported over the next few weeks.

There is absolutely no obligation, only an invitation to help if you’re in a position to do so.
